BUA

The BUA is a professional association that provides its membership with umpiring opportunities and identifies the member’s responsibilities for the various baseball/softball leagues that it represents.  The BUA will educate its members on the proper methods, knowledge and skills required to perform the duties requested of BUA members from the various leagues that contract with the BUA.  The BUA evaluates it’s members to guarantee that the mission statement is adhered to.  Through the actions of the BUA, members will benefit by operating under the contractual agreements procured from each league for services that will be rendered.  These benefits include, but are not limited to, pay scale, payment guarantees, coordinated scheduling, grievance settlements, etc.
